My Sacramento trip was filled with special times with my family. This post is about my nephew Ehren's wedding. They were married on the beach in South Lake Tahoe which is only about 1.5 hours from Sacramento. What a beautiful setting! Ehren told me, "it's my favorite place in the whole world".
The cake top was made by Ehren. It's him & Kristen as they were when they met at a costume party.
Pretty darn cute!
This is the one that gets me... Dancing with his mama.
This is a beautiful boy who is affected by Galactosemia. Have you heard of it? If you haven't please take a moment to read this information on the disorder. Please go to http://galactosemia.org/Understanding_Galactosemia.php
My dear friend just moved to Sacramento. Did I mention she's my sister-in-law?
She blessed me with a plane ticket to come for a visit which was mighty convenient since my nephew (My brother's son, the other side of the family) was getting married that weekend in South Lake Tahoe! 2 birds, one stone.
My brother lives just outside Sacramento. (That will be another post.) His wife, another sister-in-law, is another sweet friend of mine :) Sister-in-laws....they have the makin's of some pretty good friendship material.
I flew over early so Sis and I got some really good girl time in since her hubby was out of town.
My hubby didn't fly in till the weekend. He was able to get some good brother sister time in before the wedding.!
Kayaking, Chicken Festival-ing, shopping...
This one is for the family. The Jonovich Finger ;)
Today is one of those days. You know, when you cry UNCLE!! Enough already! I can't take it A N Y MORE!! I've had it. I'm done. Our family is going through some tough times but God is so, so loving and a Father who never grows tired or fed up. Unlike me He forgave before being asked to be forgiven. He stands open armed waiting for me to fall into them sobbing with grief. Unlike me He loves me when I'm proud and unloving. Unlike me He loves me and shouts it from His Word where as I go days, sometimes longer without telling someone what He's all about. Today I want to tell you.... . Isaiah 40:28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
