I think those days are gone but I would like to try to keep some tradition alive. I hope to teach this table setting (I borrowed this diagram from http://www.dinner-party-menu-ideas.com/table-setting-diagram.html thank you ;) ) to my granddaughter.It's funny, how many of us have all of those pieces to our dishes anyway? The bottom one is a little over the top and takes up a lot of space ;) But if you ever want to set a "formal" table that's how it's done!
